Proclaim- verb,

1. to announce or declare in an open or ostentatious way,

2. to indicate or make known publicly or openly.

Essentially, the bulk of what public relations is about is ‘proclamations’.

In the pursuit of goodwill for a client or institution, a PR practitioner will openly engage the relevant public (s). PR is all about reputations- it is the result of what you say and do and what others say about you- PRoclamations.

This blog is about all aspects of public relations and related topics as understood and experienced from the perspective of an international PR student in the UK.

About Amanda

Currently, I am a student pursuing a Masters degree in Public Relations at the reputed Leeds Metropolitan University. The rigorous degree programme has been demanding and I have acquired excellent training in various aspects of PR including media relations, PR strategy development, campaign planning and management.

I graduated from the United States International University (Africa), with a degree in Journalism, a minor in Psychology and a Public Relations concentration.
